Michael Hall joined Hantzes & Associates full-time in August 2013 after previously serving the firm as a legal assistant while in law school. Mr. Hall focuses his work on all aspects of the employer-employee relationship, including discrimination claims, contract disputes, employment rights protection under federal and state statutes, and whistleblowing. Mr. Hall also has experience in business and franchise disputes, as well as drafting, analyzing, and negotiating commercial contracts. While in law school, Mr. Hall gained experience in general civil litigation while working in the Civil Litigation Division of the District of Columbia Office of the Attorney General. Mr. Hall also served as a judicial intern in the Prince George's County Circuit Court.
Mr. Hall received his J.D. from the Georgetown University Law Center in Washington, D.C. While at Georgetown, he served as Lead Editor for The Tax Lawyer and was the recipient of the CALI Excellence Award for achievement in Commercial Law. Prior to law school, Mr. Hall received a B.S. in Finance from the University of Maryland.
