Biography

Nicholas Hantzes leads the firm with the wealth of experience in serving clients.  He is an accomplished trial lawyer and legal counselor.  Nicholas prides himself on promptly identifying the heart of the matter from a legal perspective and jointly working with his clients to formulate a viable and cost effective plan to meet each client’s needs.    For those clients, individuals or businesses, for which resort to the courts is appropriate, Mr. Hantzes aggressively represents his clients to ensure an appropriate resolution whether it is jury verdict or settlement.  As both an advisor and litigator, he is in a unique position to bring to bear for all his clients lessons learned from the results of complex litigation whether it is accessing the risks of litigation, formulating and executing a viable litigation strategy or structuring a transaction to avoid litigation. Clients repeatedly express to Nicholas their appreciation for the care and attention he provides to them in addressing their individual needs. The Firm's association or business clients respect Mr. Hantzes’ sound counsel with respect to contract, organizational, employment and compliance matters.

Mr. Hantzes attended Washington & Lee Law School in Lexington, Virginia, where he was both a contributor and Executive Editor of the Law Review. He received a B.S. in Economics from Lehigh University. Mr. Hantzes is a member of the District of Columbia and Virginia Bars and is admitted to practice in many federal courts.
