Represented majority shareholders in action against board of directors and corporate attorney for conspiracy and breach of fiduciary duty arising from insider transactions and other illegal actions taken by board to block election of new directors. On eve of trial, directors and corporate counsel settle for hundreds of thousands of dollars in damage.
Represented corporation in action for fraud against investment company. Obtained jury trial verdict of $1.5 million dollars in compensatory damages.
Represented co-founder and chief operating officer with no written contract terminated from business after six years of service. Awarded over $650,000 in damages by a jury in Fairfax County based on implied contract.
Defended bank president in regulatory proceedings and in federal civil action arising from collapse of a bank. Settled all actions without making any monetary payments.
